อ่าวมาหยากำลังจะกลับมามีชีวิตชีวาอีกครั้งล่ะ

หลายๆปีที่ผ่านมา น้อยคนนักท่จะไม่่รู้จักอ่าวมาหยาบนเกาะขนาดใหญ่เป็นอันดับสองของหมู่เกาะพีพี จังหวัดกระบี่ เวิ้งอ่าวขนาดเล็กรูปพระจันทร์เสี้ยวที่โอบล้อมด้วยเขาหินปูน น้ำทะเลสีเขียวมรกตใสจนมองเห็นพื้นทราย โอบล้อมด้วยเขาหินปูน หาดทรายขาวสะอาด ทรายละเอียด ความโด่งดังของอ่าวที่ธรรมชาติให้มานั้นขจรขจายไปทั่วโลก ทำให้ผู้คนมากมายอยากจะมาเยือน เมื่อมาแล้วก็อยากจะกลับมาอีก สมดัง คำที่ว่า มากระบี่ครั้งเดียวไม่เคยพอ ยิ่งความดังระเบิดระเบ้อของภาพยนต์เรื่อง The Beach นั้นยิ่งทำให้ผู้คนทั่วโลกใฝ่ฝันที่จะได้มาสักครั้ง
ด้วยบริมาณผู้เยี่ยมเยียนมากมายทำให้ธรรมชาติบริเวณนั้นทั้งระบบเสื่อมโทรม ปะการังล้มตาย เสียหาย พื้นทรายบริเวณชายหาดทรุดตัว วงจรชีวิตของสัตว์ต่างๆยับเยิน กรมอุทยานแห่งชาติสัตว์ป่าและพันธุ์พืชจึงพิจารณาให้ปิดอ่าวมาหยาไม่ให้มีการให้บริการท่องเที่ยวมาตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มิถุนายน 2561 เป็นต้นมา เพื่อให้ธรรมชาติ ระบบนิเวศทั้งบนฝั่งและใต้ทะเลได้ฟื้นฟู หลังจากพบว่า ระบบนิเวศเสียหายอย่างหนักจากกิจกรรมด้านการท่องเที่ยวมาเป็นระยะเวลานาน
ในระหว่างการปิดอ่าวมาหยา เจ้าหน้าที่ได้เพาะปลูกปะการังใหม่ ประมาณกว่า 10 ไร่ มีการปลูกพันธ์ไม้ป่าพื้นถิ่นเดิมบริเวณบนฝั่งชายหาด เพื่อช่วยยึดหน้าดินป้องกันการพังทลายของเนินทรายหน้าหาด รวมถึงการติดตามการกัดเซาะชายหาดต่อเนื่อง ธรรมชาติเองก็ส่งความสมบูรณ์กลับคืนมาให้อ่าวมาหยารวมไปถึงสัตว์น้อยใหญ่ เช่นฉลามหูดำมากกว่า ยี่สิบตัว ฉลามวาฬที่เข้าใกล้เกาะมากขึ้นบ่อยครั้งขึ้น ปะการังเติบโตขึ้นอย่างเห็นได้ชัด ใน 1 ปีที่ผ่านมาปะการังจะงอกขึ้นมาอย่างช้าๆประมาณ 2 เซนติเมตร (ไม่ง่ายเลยใช่ไหม 2 ปี 2 ซม.)
วันนี้ กระทรวงทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมได้ออกมามีประกาศจะกลับมา เปิดอ่าวมาหยา ได้อีกครั้งในวันที่ 1 มกราคม 2565 โดยจะมีมาตรการป้องกัน การท่องเท่ยวแบบไม่บันยะบันยังตามออกมาด้วย เพื่อป้องกันการเกิดปัญหาซ้ำเก่า โดยจะเปิดให้เข้าเที่ยวตั้งแต่ 10.00 - 16.00 น. เที่ยวได้รอบละ 300 คน อยู่ในอ่าวมาหยาได้คนละไม่เกิน 1 ชั่วโมง และสามรถเล่นน้ำได้ไม่เกิน 50 เมตรจากชายฝั่ง ส่วนเรือโดยสารนั้นไม่อนุญาตให้จอดบริเวณอ่าวได้อีกแล้ว แต่ให้ไปจอดเทียบท่าที่ท่าเรือโล๊ะซามะแทนถือเป็นโอกาสที่ดีแล้วที่จะได้พบกับอ่าวมาหยาในสภาพที่ธรรมชาติได้ฟื้นฟูอย่างเต็มที่ พร้อมรอต้อนรับนักท่องเที่ยวเช่นเคย
